Whole-home remodeling, stage by stage
When a house survived but needs everything, or when smoke and water reached every room, we plan the whole remodel as one ordered project.
For houses that came through, but not untouched
Smoke, heat and firefighting water can reach every room of a house that is still standing. Insulation holds odor, drywall soaks up soot, and wiring near the heat may need replacing.
A whole-home remodel lets us open, clean, replace and refinish in one sequence, so the damage is handled once for the whole house.
One scope for the whole house
We write the remodel as one scope with clear stages: protection and demolition, structural and systems work, insulation and drywall, then finishes. Every line is priced, and every change is written down before it happens.
Systems first, finishes last
Plumbing, electrical and mechanical upgrades are cheapest while the walls are open, so they come before anything decorative. That order also means the inspector sees the work while it is still visible.
Full Home Remodeling: questions
Yes. We remove what holds smoke, such as insulation and porous finishes, clean and seal the framing, and rebuild the interior. We list each step so it can be matched to the insurance scope.
Usually not for the main stages. Dust, open walls and shut-off utilities make it hard to live through. We can phase some projects so part of the house stays usable.
In writing, by stage and by room, so each part of the total is visible and you can decide which parts to change if the total is more than planned.
Plan the whole house at once
Describe the damage and the changes on your list, and we arrange a walkthrough.
